Meet ‘Davies’; Fast Rising Nigerian Trap Artiste
Breaking into the Nigerian music industry like never before is David Ayomide Davies, a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
Born on the 24th of May, 1998, David Ayomide, popularly known by his stage name ‘Davies’, started music professionally in 2018, putting out a couple of artistically made projects including, ‘Gucci Givenchy’, ‘Wish You The Best’ and his most recent single, ‘Game Changer’.
For the love of Trap music, Davies Opened a Record Label in 2018 called ‘Trap star Records’ to accommodate and inspire more artistes like himself in the pursuit of a career in Trap music, with one ‘yet to be announced’ signed artiste.
When asked what music means to him, Davies replied “Music to me is a way to express my inner thoughts and views” and this portrays how far beyond the ordinary, his view on music goes.
The 21 years old trap singer aspires to make a difference in the music industry and beyond with his music and is already striving to attain this goal.
For a lover of Trap music, it is no surprise that he looks up to the likes of Migos, Drake, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar as a guide. He, however, didn’t forget home as he also loves Nigerian A-listers, D’banj and Wizkid.
