KENDRICK LAMAR’S ‘DAMN’ JUMPS BACK TO #1 SPOT ON BILLBOARD 200

Kendrick Lamar’s double platinum album ‘DAMN’ sat comfortably at the top of the Billboard 200 albums for three weeks in a row before losing out to JAY-Z’s 4:44. Yesterday, the album reclaimed the #1 spot on the charts, making it the fourth week Kendrick has secured the top spot on the Billboard charts. This comes after the TDE rapper surprised his audience by bringing out his TDE cohorts, SchoolBoy Q, SZA and Jay Rock during his final leg of his tour.

Billboard notes that “the album is the week’s most-streamed title on the Billboard 200, with 46.2 million on-demand audio streams generated by its songs.”
