Davido came into limelight in 2011 after his popular song “Back When” features Nigerian rapper Naeto C. The song became an instant hit and was well received by music lovers all around Africa. He followed up with another Dami duro in October. After dropping his popular song Dami Duro his popularity skyrocketed making him one of the most loved Nigerian Afro pop singer today. Since then it has been hits and banger singles such as Aye, skelewu, overseas and Gobe.

Born into the family of Mr Deji and Mrs Vero Adeleke in Atlanta, Georgia, United States Of America, Davido, lost his beloved mother, Dr Vero Adeleke in 2003.

The MTN Brand ambassador started music production at the age of 13 while he was in uSA and was a member of a musical group called the KB international. He did a lot on his musical talent before moving finally to Nigeria.

According to him, after teaching himself several music production lessons in different studios, he started digging into the world of music while in high school. With his eyes focused on his goal, he started working with different artists in Nigeria namely NPZ, Dammy Krane among others.

He has worked with popular Afro-music stars like Wizkid, Ice Prince, Tuface, Naeto C, Olamide, Lynxxx and Skales.

Davido began his education at the popular British international School Lagos, and proceeded to Oakwood University to study business administration but had to move back to Nigeria and went further to attain a degree from Babcock University.

He is not only a good singer but also a father. In May 2015, he had a daughter with is Ex- girlfriend Sophia Momodu.

The young millionaire who has worked with Mafikizolo on tchelete, diamond platinum on number one and other Nigerian artists such as Tiwa, Lola, Sarkodie and micasa has bagged several recognitions and awards. Some of his achievements include:
